Werner Spies understands how to build and lead start-up businesses with a key emphasis on value creation and sustainability.
Werner completed his accounting training with Price Waterhouse after which he spent 5 years in corporate financial and operational management. Werner’s passion for professional services encouraged him to leave the corporate world to focus full-time on building an Accounting Practice. It was via this Accounting Practice that Werner got introduced to numerous start-up ventures where he quickly realised his interest in turning vision into action. Werner soon joined a start-up Systems Consulting Practice and now has a 20 year track record of leading the development of a number of IT professional services ventures in the ERP , e-Commerce and Execution Management arena.
Werner is a founding member of the CharterMason Consulting Group and is responsible for all operational aspects of the organization, also representing the interest of shareholders in his role as Chairman of the Group. He brings deep experience in attracting and managing organizational talent and creating value for its stake holders.
Werner has been instrumental in shaping and building Combined Design Engineers and eGlobal. In his last role prior to founding CharterMason, he led the Australian SAP Practice in Logica.
