Peter has a long history of delivering complex capital and transformation projects.
He started delivering projects as a consulting engineer in 1988 and moved into the IT arena in 1991.
In the early “90’s, integrated ERP systems were booming and the system challenges associated with the “Y2K” event spawned a multitude of transformation projects. Peter has spent 20 years delivering these projects in the UK, South Africa, Germany, United States, Australia and the Middle East as well as being directly involved in the establishment of a number of businesses that provide services to these projects. His experience has been gained through projects for Toyota, VW, BASF, Carl Ziess, Anglo Gold, Zurich Insurance, George Weston Foods, Sony, RACV, TNT, NAB and GM Holden.
Whilst this experience has confirmed that no two projects are the same, Peter has contributed significantly to the preparation of approaches to project delivery through sound governance, accountability, risk management processes and project planning centred on the identification of a project’s critical path.
Transformation projects are large and complex and Peter’s experience has assisted customers achieve the required level of throughput whilst managing risk. Peter ensures that stakeholders are fully engaged at all times and work effectively across all levels of the customer in an engaging and collaborative manner.
