Business Analysis
This involves working with our customers to gather and document requirements, validate and assess these against defined quality criteria, and work with business users and delivery teams to ensure optimum solutions by applying end-to-end thinking to complex business and system problems.
We are also able to assist our clients with building a BA competency supported by the appropriate structure, processes and capabilities to improve overall project throughput. This includes:
- Developing a competency framework that provides structure and allows our clients to understand the capabilities required in the BA pool to address the project demand
- Mapping the resourcing demand for BAs across the Portfolio to the competency framework and overlay this with the existing BA capability to understand current coverage and development needs
- Review and recommend refinements to existing structures, processes and tools in use
- Develop a proposed target resource mix based on internal (base) vs. external (variable) capability and develop a medium term development needs analysis for training of the clients current staff and recruitment and sourcing of the supplementary capability
- Produce a capability roadmap that allows the client to continually map the future development of its BA capability back to the objectives and KPI’s of the project lifecycle.
